Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and optimize comprehensive revenue-generating marketing strategies and campaigns specifically tailored for the DACH, Nordics, and Benelux markets, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and regional sales goals.
  • Drive demand generation initiatives across various channels, including digital advertising, content marketing, email marketing, webinars, and events, to generate high-quality MQLs (Marketing Qualified Leads) and SQLs (Sales Qualified Leads).
  • Collaborate closely with regional sales leaders and teams to ensure seamless lead hand-off, sales enablement, and joint pipeline acceleration efforts, fostering strong sales and marketing alignment.
  • Manage and optimize the marketing budget allocated for the assigned regions, ensuring efficient resource allocation and a strong return on investment (ROI) for all marketing activities.
  • Utilize advanced marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Pardot, HubSpot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to manage campaigns, track performance, segment audiences, and personalize communications effectively.
  • Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights gathering to identify new opportunities, understand regional nuances, and refine marketing strategies for maximum impact.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key marketing performance metrics, campaign effectiveness, and pipeline contribution, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure brand consistency and adherence to Wolters Kluwer brand guidelines across all regional marketing materials and communications, while also adapting content for local relevance and cultural sensitivity.
  • Work with product marketing teams to translate product features and benefits into compelling value propositions and messaging that resonate with regional customer segments.
  • Champion a data-driven approach to marketing, continuously testing, learning, and optimizing campaigns based on performance data and market feedback.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven experience (5+ years preferred) in B2B marketing, with a strong focus on revenue marketing, demand generation, or growth marketing roles within a technology, software, or professional services company.
  • Demonstrable experience working with and deep understanding of the DACH, Nordics, and/or Benelux markets, including cultural nuances and business practices.
  • Expertise in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Pardot, HubSpot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is essential, with a track record of leveraging these tools for campaign execution and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing performance.
  • Exceptional project management skills, capable of managing multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously from conception to completion.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal teams (sales, product, global marketing) and external partners.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in German, Dutch, or a Nordic language (e.g., Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish) is a significant advantage and highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment and adapt to evolving market demands.
