Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions across major platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure automation using industry-leading tools like Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and manage containerized applications efficiently with Kubernetes.
• Design, optimize, and manage comprehensive CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery, ensuring rapid, reliable, and automated deployments from development to production environments.
• Establish, configure, and maintain advanced logging, monitoring, and alerting systems utilizing technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog to ensure proactive issue detection, performance analysis, and system health visibility.
• Apply a strong understanding of networking fundamentals, cloud security principles, and advanced scaling strategies to build resilient, secure, and high-performing cloud architectures.
• Drive the adoption and implementation of GitOps methodologies for version-controlled infrastructure management and enhance container orchestration strategies to optimize resource utilization and application performance.
• Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, including software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to ensure seamless integration and successful delivery of technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers, advocating for best practices in cloud architecture, automation, and operational excellence.
• Continuously evaluate new cloud technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve the efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness of our cloud infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues, ensuring high availability, minimal downtime, and optimal system performance.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing robust solutions on leading Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Profound knowledge and practical experience in infrastructure automation tools and methodologies, including Terraform, Kubernetes, and building comprehensive CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• A solid understanding of networking fundamentals, cloud security principles, and practical experience in implementing scaling strategies for distributed systems.
• Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps practices, and advanced container orchestration techniques.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively and communicate clearly within cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving complex technical challenges.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Cloud Platform Expertise: In-depth knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (Azure, AWS, or GCP), including their core services (compute, networking, storage, databases, serverless).
• Infrastructure Automation: Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or similar IaC tools, and strong experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Expertise in designing and implementing robust CI/CD pipelines, a deep understanding of GitOps principles, and advanced version control (Git) practices.
• Observability: Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, the ELK stack for centralized logging, and establishing effective alerting mechanisms.
• Networking & Security: Solid grasp of TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, IAM, data encryption, and best practices for securing cloud environments and applications.
• System Design & Scaling: Ability to design scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant architectures, including microservices patterns, load balancing, and auto-scaling.
• Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team, and willingness to mentor peers and share knowledge.
